Elite: Dangerous - I actually found this to be the easiest to map, because I found this very early - If you're looking to setup your x52(pro/nonpro) on ED, this is a great starting point.I've managed to piece this together from the Falcon 4 profile (which almost works.) but it's not perfect yet. Falcon AF - Saitek actually provides a profile for Falcon 4 that works amazingly well, and BMS also ships with a great default profile, however, if you want to play Falcon Allied Forces, you won't have such luck.I use my `DEFAULTS` profile and some custom binds in the game. For the most part though, it's totally playable. You will have to disable the 'clutch' button via `joy.cpl` or remap boost if you wish to use that feature, and some of the default button positions don't fall perfectly on the x52. Star Wars: Squadrons - This game (mostly) works out of the box.

If you look down - default keyboard '3' I think - you will see that your avatar is using what looks very much like an X52 rig to pilot the ship. I would set up the X52 drivers first then find that Logitech / Saitek calibration tool and get that all set up before then going in to ED and picking the X52 profile / set up. BTW ED with the X52 and VR absolutely rocks - I really ought to make time to set mine up again.Īnyways! Enough of my gibbering.

I think I first used the X52 in World Of Warplanes or a very similar game to test it out and 'tweak' the settings. I did not use the X52 in any game until I was happy with that set up. Going on the memory, I think I altered a couple of 'binds' for the 'flick state' buttons on the stick and I seem to remember that I had to change a bind to use the covered safe / fire button to my liking.īefore I used the X52 in any game I installed not just a driver but a Logitech / Saiteck tool that allows calibration and full control over the stick and thrust. New Release: Saitek X52 Elite Setup Version 2.2.3 : r/EliteDangerous by GangreneTVP Its HERE New Release: Saitek X52 Elite Setup Version 2.2. When I used my X52 on my older desktop, if memory serves, there was a built in to the game profile that works very well and the X52 works smoothly in game. I have the silver / blue and black version of the Logitech G Saitek X52 Flight Control System not the all black PRO version. HOTAS Suggestions - Saitek x52 Standard or Pro Ive been saving up for a HOTAS to play with, and Ive done quite a bit of research.
